Stellantis denies breaking the terms of the labor contract it signed with the United Auto Workers union only a year ago.

Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, has filed a federal lawsuit against the United Auto Workers (UAW), alleging the union violated its contract by threatening a strike. The lawsuit follows UAWs vote to authorize

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court Central District of California, claims that the UAW "filed sham grievances designed to justify mid-contract strikes against Stellantis that otherwise would violate [the collective bargaining agreement's] no strike clause."
