In a new interview, Quinn Hughes revealed he's the biggest bookworm on the Vancouver Canucks and read roughly 30 books last year.

The Canucks captain surprised Dorothy Palmer, a 105-year-old fan, after the team’s training camp scrimmage in Penticton, British Columbia, on Sunday. The adorable fan jumped out of her chair and ran to give Hughes a hug as soon as she spotted in him during a video posted by the Canucks on social media.

Canucks assistant coach Adam Foote has a special appreciation of how devoted Hughes is to his craft. Foote won two Stanley Cups with Colorado as a big and imposing presence on the back end. His No. 52 jersey was retired by the Avalanche, and that could happen to Hughes some day in Vancouver because of the work he puts in every day.
