Telangana Congress minister Konda Surekha has ignited a controversy by linking BRS working president KT Rama Rao to the divorce of actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya.

On Wednesday (2 October 2024), Surekha claimed that KTR’s interference led to a rift in Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s relationship, resulting in a divorce. This sparked major controversy, and the actor filed a criminal defamation lawsuit against Surekha. He also now filed another Rs. 100 crore defamation case.

Konda Surekha (58) is a member of Indian National Congress and represents Warangal East constituency in Telangana Legislative Assembly. Born on August 19, 1965 in Warangal, Konda Surekha was elected as MLA in 1999 in the state assembly of the undivided Andhra Pradesh state.
