KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WCYB) — A water line break in Kingsport has led to outages and a boil water advisory. The boil water advisory is in effect for the area mainly bounded by Stone Drive, Interstate 81 and the John B. Dennis Highway, as well as the Cooks Valley, Indian Springs and Fall Creek areas of town.
Jonesborough lifts boil water advisory for some
The Town of Jonesborough said in a release that the boil water advisory for all roads off Highway 107, excluding a few homes on the end of Charlie Carson Road. The advisory has been lifted for all homes and businesses north from the intersection of 81N and Tittle Circle to Highway

A waterline break at Kingsport’s water filtration plant led to several customers losing water on Wednesday morning, according to the city. The City of Kingsport issued a news release at 12:35 p.m. stating that the waterline has been repaired and crews are working to restore service.
