Cal Fire is on the scene of a vegetation fire that is bordering Nevada and Placer counties. According to the Placer County Sheriff's Office, the fire is at the Forebay Dam near Dutch Flat. The fire is being mapped at 23 acres.

A new wildfire burning near the Nevada and Placer county line has forced officials to issue mandatory evacuations in both counties on Saturday.

As for the Nevada County side, evacuation orders are place in Zone NCO-E220 from Lowell Hill from Dutch Flat Powerhouse to Mule Springs, the Nevada County Sheriff's Office. The rest of the zone is under an evacuation warning. Click here to see if evacuation orders or warnings fall in your area.
