Line Fire initially started 6:33 p.m. Sep. 5 in San Bernardino County. It has burned 43,978 acres after being active for 33 days. A crew of 1,324 firefighters has been working on site and they managed to contain 89% of the fire as of Tuesday afternoon. The fire is suspected to have been started deliberately.

Flare-ups in the San Bernardino National Forest have prompted officials to issue new evacuation orders as firefighters continue battling the Line Fire, which has been burning for nearly a month. Containment of the wildfire in the San Bernardino County mountains dropped to 76 percent early this week.
