ATLANTA — MARTA trains will temporarily skip Brookhaven Station from Oct. 7 to Nov. 15 for construction to replace the station’s 40-year-old platform pavers. Gold Line service will run as scheduled, but trains during the six-week project will not stop at the station.

MARTA trains will skip the Brookhaven stop for the next six weeks. Officials said this stop is so construction crews can replace outdated pavers on the rail station platform. MARTA said that the train service for the Gold Line will work as scheduled otherwise.

MARTA Gold Line trains will skip Brookhaven station for six weeks starting Monday.The trains won’t stop at the station from Oct. 7 to Nov. 15, although the rest of the Gold Line will continue as scheduled.
