Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is visiting Bangladesh to meet with interim leader Muhammad Yunus, who took over in August after the former prime minister fled during a mass uprising

Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is set to arrive in Bangladesh on Friday for talks primarily focused on labour issues, according to Dhaka officials.

The Malaysian high commissioner says the prime minister will be meeting with the government led by Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus.

Bangladesh has recalled five envoys, including the ambassador to neighbouring India, foreign ministry officials said on Thursday, in a major diplomatic reshuffle as the interim government clears out holdovers from the previous administration.
