South Korea to invest $866M in fusion energy development
WEBJul 26, 2024 · The South Korean government will invest KRW1,200bn ($866m) to develop fusion reactors and related infrastructure, local media reported. This was announced by the Ministry of Science & ICT at a meeting of the National Nuclear Fusion Committee chaired by Minister Lee Jong Ho. The policy goal is to secure the ability to take the early lead in the commercial application of fusion energy.
